Travel, Temples & Tofu…

By the time you read this I’ll be on the next stage of our wonderful trip to South Korea and Japan. They say a change is as good as a rest, and whilst this trip has been incredibly busy it’s weirdly therapeutic. I’ve never had so many blisters and will probably need a hip replacement due to the amount of time spent walking but I wouldn’t change a thing!

As a vegetarian I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find much to eat in the lands of friend chicken and raw fish, but I’ve had to eat my words and much more beside – see photo below of the feast we were served when we stayed at a Buddhist temple at Mount Koyasan – beautiful!

So far I haven’t done much writing on this adventure but my neuron’s have been on overdrive mulling over all of the potential what ifs… I’ll be starting lots of exciting new works once I’m back so watch this space.

If you’re on social media you can see some photos from my trip so far over on Insta or FB. I’ve popped a small selection below.

Until next time x
